2017 BMW 5 Series India- Exterior Design Review
The new generation model is built on the design of the outgoing 5-Series. It also borrows some design cues from the flagship 7-Series sedan. BMW’s the signature “Kidney Grille” is now much bigger and sits more upright with the headlamps cleanly flowing into it. Talking about the sides, they feature a 7-Series like vent behind the front wheel arch with chrome or black detailing based on the trim. The overall design bears a little resemblance to the older car, which is most prominent in the rear angles of the 5-Series. Like most of the modern BMWs, the headlights, tail lamps as well as the fog lamps are full LED units.
2017 BMW 5 Series India- Interior Design Review
Very much like the exterior, the interior of the new 2017 BMW 5-Series seems to be inspired from the previous model’s design. The most prominent change inside are in the form of increased dimensions which helps in making a greater leg space for the rear passengers. This should go well with the Indian buyers as these cars are mostly chauffeur driven. Undoubtedly, the cabin will come loaded with features and technology justifying a cost of Rs 60 lakhs or so.
