Hyundai Verna Old vs New
Hyundai Verna Old vs New Comparison – Exterior Design
Though the 2017 Hyundai Verna is built on the current model itself, it incorporates design touches that are in line with Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. The new Hyundai Verna was showcased as a concept a few months back. The production spec Verna features a new hexagonal chrome grille with Hyundai’s new signature cascading grille design, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a rear end quite similar to that of the new Elantra sedan. The bonnet seems much flatter now and the new Verna looks much wider than the outgoing model. When it comes to design, the India spec version differs from the one sold in China.
The new Verna gets a set of split tail lamps that gives the sedan a much sleeker look from that angle than before. It is likely that the new tail lights could get the LED treatment as well. Other than this, the significant additions to the exteriors include a new rear view mirrors and new alloys wheels. Overall, the 2017 Hyundai Verna looks more mature and has a more clear three box profile.
Hyundai Verna Old vs New Comparison – Interior Design
The interiors of the new Verna would feature much simpler and more elegant lines in comparison to the outgoing model. The steering wheel design would be similar to that of the Elite i20’s. The centre console seems to take inspiration from newer Hyundai models. The 2017 Hyundai Verna gets a feature rich centrally mounted touchscreen infotainment system and black interiors highlighted with silver. It is expected that additional features such as navigation, sunroof , reverse parking camera etc. will find their way into the cabin of the upcoming Hyundai Verna. The current model of the Verna has a downside with it’s cramped cabin and claustrophobic rear seat. To improve upon this, the new 2017 Hyundai Verna should be more spacious than its current version.

The manual transmission variant’s engines comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox whereas the 1.6 diesel can also be had with a 4-speed automatic.
