BAL (Bajaj Auto Ltd) has launched a new variant of the CT 100 range, the CT 100 ES. The CT 100 ES which is the latest model in the CT 100 lineup of bikes comes with Alloy Wheels and Electric Start. The new 2017 Bajaj CT 100 ES Alloy Wheel model has a sticker price of Rs 41,997. The model with spoke wheel costs Rs 35,181 (ex-showroom). This is the second update to the CT 100 range. Before this, the CT 100 was updated with a  BS4 engine to meet the latest emission norms. Despite the addition of some slightly premium features such as the electric start and alloy wheels, the CT 100 ES Alloy Wheel model is still among the cheapest bikes from Bajaj. Now that the  CT 100 also comes in an ES Alloy Wheel model, the bike is available in total four variants. Of these is the the very much practical CT 100 B, which carries a price tag of just Rs 29,998. Coming to the spoke wheels model, it costs Rs 35,389. (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

The motorcycle remains the same and there are no mechanical changes.  It just has got a new electric start system.  So, the new CT 100 ES Alloy model is powered by a 99.27 cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 8.2 PS of max power @ 7,500 RPM and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm @ 4,500 RPM. The transmission duties are handled by a four-speed manual transmission. The CT 100 ES can reach a true top speed of 90 KMPH.  The suspension duties are handled by a standard telescopic forks up in the front and a twin spring-in-spring (SNS) setup at the rear. The braking is handled by 110 mm drum brakes both at the front and rear.

It should be kept in mind that the Bajaj CT 100 ES Alloy Wheel model is an entry-level motorcycle. Therefore it is not expected to be high on features. However it still offers alloy wheels, bikini fairing, chrome-plated heat shield and electric start.
