It is likely that the 2017 S Cross will cost more or less the same as the current model. It is not sure if Maruti will introduce a Petrol model. However, if it does, it will try to make sure that prices of the S-Cross facelift start lower than those of the current model.

The Maruti S Cross 2017 facelift gets a new front fascia. The front of the 2017 S Scross gets an all-new chrome-finished grille that will give some premium feel to the car. It also gets LED DRLs, new projector headlamps, revised airdam and a new bumper, new LED taillamps and chrome highlights around fog lamps.

Maruti S Cross 2017 Facelift- Engine & Gearbox
The S Cross is available internationally in two engine options, the Boosterjet turbo-Petrol 1.0-litre, three cylinder engine and a 1.4-litre, four cylinder engine. While the 1.0 ltr engine produces 112 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque, the 1.4-litre motor pumps out 140 bhp of power 220 Nm of torque. Both these engines come mated with 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions. ALLGRIP AWD (All Wheel Drive) is available on the 1.4-litre Boosterjet variant only. The Diesel engine option on offer is the 1.6-litre DDiS Turbo-Diesel unit. This engine pumps out 120 bhp of power 320 Nm of torque and comes mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission. In Europe, it also gets a DCT and ALLGRIP AWD as optional.
The S-Cross facelift will continue to sport the current 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre DDiS Diesel engines. However, it is likely that it will also get a new 1.5-liter Petrol engine outputting 100 bhp-133 Nm. Though all this is not official, but it could also get the 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine that made its India debut with the Baleno RS.
