It seems that Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) have filed patents for the new 2017 Honda Unicorn 150. Honda is trying to give a comprehensive update to the Unicorn 150 to capitalize on the huge fan following that the bike enjoys. The 150cc Unicorn, was first withdrawn from the market after the launch of the 160cc model. New 2017 Honda Unicorn 150 Facelift

The Unicorn was the first Indian bike to get a mono-shock rear suspension, while the upcoming facelift model in India will have a conventional twin shock absorber setup. Another major change is that while the original Unicorn came with a 18-inch wire spoke wheels, the upcoming facelift model will have 17-inch alloys.
The Unicorn motorcycle is powered by a 149.1 cc air-cooled engine which pumps out 13.3 PS at 8,500 rpm and 12.84 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Very likely, these figures would go up for the new 2017 model Unicorn 150. The engine comes mated with a 5-speed transmission unit. Not much changes are expected in the Unicorn facelift when it comes to specs.
