Design and Interiors

Practical design and space are keys to the Indian MPV market. Space inside the car is the main driving factor behind designs of all the leading MPVs. Renault has focused on making Lodgy spacious to ensure the travelers have a good driving experience, even for long drives and highway rides. The car is a practical choice for long drives with family and commute on highways. Lodgy has a wheel base of 2810mm, which is slightly more than Innova’s 2750mm giving it more space and legroom for passengers.

Innova takes the lead in terms of length, width and height with 4585mm, 1760mm and 1760mm respectively in comparison to 4498mm, 1751mm and 1682mm of Renault Lodgy. A taller person will feel more comfortable in Innova but Lodgy has enough space for any family outings with its lush interiors and 7 and 8 seater options.

Both Innova and Lodgy are equipped with top interior specifications of this segment with rear AC vents, connectivity to mobile devices, parking sensors, dual airbags and ABS. Both cars seem fairly equipped to handle a lifelong ride on Indian roads and tackle any driving conditions.
