Tesla expects to manufacture 20,000 cars per month by December, 2017 and has plans to produce 500,000 vehicles next year which will be nearly six times of its 2016 production. With the production target of 500,000 Model 3 cars per year, the company is likely to outperform BMW, Mercedes, or Lexus brands in the United States.
The Model 3 car is expected to be available in India by second half of the next year with an expected launch price of around Rs. 30 to 35 lacs.
