All you want to know about Maruti Suzuki’s New Launch, CelerioX (Cross) Car

Maruti Suzuki India, the largest car maker in India has announced the launch of its all new CelerioX (Cross) hatchback car yesterday, the 1st December 2017. The new car is priced at 4.57 lakh to 5.42 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). It is a sporty version of the Celerio hatchback with crossover styling.  The new car, a B-segment contender comes with new styling and enhanced cosmetic additions giving it a bold crossover look. The new CelerioX will be available in only the petrol version with total four variants VZI, VXI (O), ZXI and ZXI (O). All the four variants are available in 5 speed transmission options, both manual and AMT.

Mr. R S Kalsi, the Senior Executive Director, Marketing & Sales of Maruti Suzuki India while announcing the launch of the new CelerioX said that “Celerio has successfully carved unique position for itself in the competitive compact car segment. With CelerioX, Maruti Suzuki aims to give this well accepted model a bold, stylish and sporty makeover as per the changing preference of young and social savvy consumers. We are confident that CelerioX will enhance the brand and bring in young customers.” As around 3,00,000 Celerio vehicles are already running on the road, the company hopes to add to the sales with the launch of CelerioX with all new styling.

The CelerioX was showcased by Maruti Suzuki India at the last Geneva Motor Show. This car offers the same specification and the mileage as that of Celerio. It has the same engine, a 1.0 litre K-series 3-cylinder petrol engine with 67 Bhp-90Nm. However, with new stylish and trendy look, it appears that it will attract more buyers in the price segment.
